Ever notice that here in the Philippines, being fasyon equates to DRESSING UP? As in mixing prints, wearing what people do not dare to wear or just plain looking different/standing out. Meanwhile abroad, their fashionistas are just decked in shorts, a plain white polo and boots or heels and bam! they’re HUGE! Everyone wants to dress like them. Take Mary Kate and Ashley for example, I rarely see them in something loud. Almost all the time, they are decked out in neutrals and look, everyone bends on backwards to buy their expensive basics (from their brand The Row).

I’m just really weirded out by it.
