FIRST DAY HIGH

Today was my first day in class.

After 7 months of resting, I am finally back in school! Not my old school, but a new one. I thought I wouldn’t miss going to school, but I do! I’m happy cause it’s an excuse to buy school supplies. My dad and I went shopping yesterday for all my school stuff.

I got a huge, hard cover notebook from Fully Booked. I’m kind of regretting it now cause it was so heavy to carry awhile ago!

We also bought new school shoes. The soles were slippery, plus the ground was wet cause it rained last night, so awhile ago, I slipped outside McDo just as soon as I stepped out of the car! My all-white uniform got dirty at 7 in the morning. 

My first class was Chem. Our topic was solutions. Back to first year! I had Math afterwards: distance formula :)) For both of them, I already have homework! I’m actually quite excited to do homework. :))

And for Socio, I have readings already. It’s quite funny, how I came from UP, the most liberal campus in the Philippines, yet it’s here that I have a gay prof. As in he said he joins gay pageants! But I already look up to him even though it’s only been my first time to sit in class. He definitely knows what he’s talking about. And take note, he has a PhD!

Right now, I’m missing UP, but I have to slowly let go of it. I’m grateful that I have a chance to correct my mistakes and start over again. Wasn’t it I who wanted to start over in high school, after realizing that it was easy and I really could have been a DL in freshman year? Well now, I have this chance to do so in college. Hope I don’t waste this chance.
